What a great argument! Obviously because something is the law that makes it just and right! We’ve never had corrupted laws before or anything. It was never the law that interracial couples couldn’t get married. It was never the law that enforced segregation. It was never the law that punished homosexual acts. No no no, the law is always perfect. So once again, great argument!

Don’t like it? Too bad! It’s the law so therefore it must be right and you’re just a whinny brat. Whatever I say goes, deal with it. -BO

Lol. Someone’s offended. I think you missed the point though. It wasn’t intended to be an actual argument. It was akin to “Why can’t I do this? That’s not fair!” “Well, life’s not fair, deal with it.” 

That was what I found so hilarious. Because, you know, health care is kinda a necessity. That’s where you and I differ in beliefs though, so I’ll respect that. 

Not directed at you, I just don’t like that people on tumblr take this as a serious argument.

Healthcare is a wonderful thing that human progress and invention has given us, But that doesn’t justify using violence and force so that people will have it. And honestly, Obamacare isn’t even good in the eyes of true liberals. All it does is force you to buy health insurance or be fined. That’s the equivalent of trying to end homelessness by mandating everyone buy a house. Not to mention, it’s raising the premiums in all but I believe 5 states, some as high as 80%. It’s a horrible mess, even if you”re a leftist. It’s terrible policy. 

and who runs the White House twitter account.  Yes, we know it was passed.  It’s. The. Law.  sounds too much like ‘I am the law’ (and not in a good way) to me.

It’s creepy how whomever runs the WH twitter account doesn’t think laws can be repealed. It’s VERY creepy that when a representative ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE asks THE PEOPLE to give an opinion, the WH twitter master’s comment is to repeat that it’s the law…as if because it’s law THAT makes it FINAL. Well, fuck you. NO law in this land is final. Ever. Because lawmakers and politicians work FOR US, not the other way around.
